Jesus

I am a Christian. You can learn more about my beliefs on this page. About the best thing in the world is good church, and about the worst thing in the world is a bad one.

A good church needs to teach that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the Word of God, and its doctrine of salvation is the perfect and only true doctrine of salvation. A good church requires that you admit that you are a sinner and hate your sinfulness. A good church requires that you humble yourself before God and trust for salvation, not in yourself, but in Jesus Christ alone. A good church requires that you acknowledge Jesus Christ as your sovereign Lord and that you promise, in reliance on the grace of God, to serve him with all that is in you, to forsake the world, putting to death your old nature and strive to lead a godly life. A good church should take the Biblical duty to shepherd your soul seriously. A good church requires you to submit, in the Lord, to the leadership of that church and to obey godly church discipline.

Heavy stuff, right? But sooooooooo important. Here are some churches in the local area that are part of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, the denomination of which I am a part:
