Prices & Booking

I offer PRIVATE PARTIES (birthday, wedding, anniversary, picnic, office party), as well as options for PUBLIC EVENTS, currently starting at $150. You can see prices listed below. Since I work a day job in insurance, my general availability is evenings and weekends… if you go to the INQUIRY PAGE, you’ll see a list of generally available starting times for each day of the week. At the bottom of this page you can see a calendar that shows days that have already been completely booked up, as well as events that are open to the public!

PUBLIC EVENT

For this type, your organization pays Banana Jackson Face Painting and then you offer face painting or balloon twisting to the public. An average of 13 – 15 guests can be painted per hour.

  • $220 for two hours (minimum)
  • $295 for three hours

PUBLIC EVENT
Pay-Per-Face

Public Events include such things as Carnivals, Festivals, Grand Openings, Flea Markets, Business Promotions, and Church Outreaches that are open to the masses. For this type Banana Jackson Face Painting would charge the public directly per-person who wants their face painted.

  • $75 show-up fee needed from the organization
  • The event must have a 4 hour minimum run time.
  • In order to be considered for this, your event needs to have some history so that you can estimate foot traffic.
  • Other terms and conditions apply that I’ll be happy to discuss with you.

Calendar

Open to Public

Here you’ll find events where a sponsor is offering FREE FACE PAINTING or FREE BALLOON TWISTING that’s open to the public, and you’ll also find PAY-PER-FACE events where you can come out and pay a small fee to get your face painted (…and, at my PAY-PER-FACE events, I always offer a little something for free—even if it’s just a swipe of glitter—so that everyone can have a little smile!)

Booked Up

In this calendar you’ll also be able to see those days which have become entirely booked up with no more availability. Be aware that this calendar isn’t automatically updated and that a recent booking may have blocked out dates that aren’t yet shown as completely booked up.

Terms and Conditions

When having me out to entertain, you must agree to the Terms & Conditions. You’ll need to read and agree to that whole long legal list, but here are a few of the most important ones:

  1. The safety and security of children is solely the responsibility of the event host. I’m happy to entertain your kiddos, but I do not offer babysitting services.
  2. A non-refundable booking fee is required in order to hold an event date/time. Until the booking fee is received and the contract signed, the event isn’t booked.
  3. The balance of the payment is due no later than 6 am on the morning of the event. If not received by then, the event won’t appear on my list of places I’m going that day.
  4. Close parking for loading and unloading is required, as well as access to a restroom and tap water.
  5. If the event is outdoors, you must provide protection from sun, wind and rain. And since I do not provide any refund for an event cancelled due to weather, a backup indoor location for your event is highly recommended.
  6. Some bounce house companies don’t allow face painting at their events, so check before you book us both. No refunds will be given if I show up for the event and I’m asked to leave.
  7. Although marijuana is now legal in Ohio, it cannot be smoked at events that I’m working. The smell of the smoke gives me an instant vomiting migraine. If marijuana is being smoked by someone at your event, I will leave and will not provide any refund.

How to Set Up for the Event

For face painting, I bring my own table, and I bring my own “chair.” Close to an outlet is great! The area must be protected from sun/wind/rain. Here’s a little video that shows the size of a typical setup. If you have me doing balloons only, I generally need about the same amount of space, though my balloon set up is more mobile since most of what I need to do balloons is strapped onto my apron.
